#MidWeekTease with a lady who wonders what's going on...

Hi everyone,  I'm back in the groove again, and he's the first of what I intend to be regular posts. It's not easy finding a passage very week when you've only got one book out. New Beginnings for Bryony Bennett, and it's available from Amazon  here   (Thought I'd sneak that in.) However book two, working title, The Transformation of Lottie Botte is in edits and  my third book,  working title Maisie makes a move (or some such thing) had begun to take shape. so this week I'll give you a wee snippet from Maisie... Maisie saw her class of five year olds into the dinner hall, checked the contents of her purse and swore under her breath. Thirty three pence wouldn’t get her far. She’d started out with a tenner and change in her purse, with the intention of getting some cash on her way home. Only to be met by Maria, the school secretary with a cheery, ‘lottery money due. Tenner this week, tenner next.’ She’d handed the...

Yes, it's my seven sentences that might not be hot, but are worth a read (I hope) Today I'm teasing from A Regency that will hopefully come out next year  Amanda and the Duke Where Amanda is happily single but her Papa thinks she should be married. And where several young ladies decide to enjoy themselves before the settle down. "Then we leave for London in a week,' her papa said. 'We can make arrangements for your engagement ball and wedding.' We can? Oh no we can not. ‘I want the season as an unattached, and 'not as on the lookout for a husband', young lady,’ Amanda said firmly. ‘Whether he thinks I have accepted his proposal or not is immaterial. Actually how can I when I don't know who he is, I doubt I have ever met him, and no proposal to me has been made, let alone accepted.’ Catch all the other #SexySnippets  here Enjoy your reading, love Katy xx

It's the time of the week to do some sentence sharing... As I've just come back from the area of Devon, in England where my Cliff Cottage books are set, I thought I'd go back to New Beginnings for Bryony Bennett for today's seven sentences. ( available from Amazon  here  ) Blurb... When Bryony Bennett’s godmother dies and leaves her a huge inheritance, Bryony jumps at the chance to get away from it all and start again. She packs up her life and moves into the (almost) idyllic Cliff Cottage…only to find that starting over is never quite as simple as you imagine. Faced with grumpy neighbours, hostile locals and more than her fair share of disasters, Bryony embarks on a mission to make sure her new life is everything she wants it to be…but will she ever win over the locals and truly be happy in her new life? ‘I’m here.’ Her voice was loud in the silence. The only noise was the ticking of the engine as it cooled, and the...

Well, it's a bit of a turn up for the books (well, Lottie's book) just how things are going... So I might as well tease you from there Lottie, Gibb, and the others are discussing vices after Maddie and Dex's twins cussed... ‘My vice is dark denim, classic Magnum ice creams and green fruit pastilles,’ Gibb said. ‘Oh and a mystery lady with a deep, dark velvet voice, violet eyes, and an attitude to make you think about...’ He glanced at the adults and coughed. ‘Boring compared to yours Lottie. And my sister is ten years older than me, and as staid as they come. No vices for Miss Prim and Proper.   Your younger years sound much more fun to be part of.’ Catch all the other #SexySnippets  here ( If you'd like to know more about Lottie you can discover her in New Beginnings for Bryony Bennett  here Happy reading and have a great week, until we meet again Katy xx
